In 1964 Andrzej Wejchert commenced architectural practice in Ireland. It was established on the strength of the winning entry in the International Architectural Competition for the Master Plan for the new Campus and Arts, Administration and Aula Maxima Buildings for University College Dublin.
In 1974 with Danuta Kornaus-Wejchert he established the partnership of A & D Wejchert, Architects.
Over the years Paddy Fletcher, Martin Carey, Paul Roche, Helen Giblin, David Lanigan and Graham Dwyer became Partners and the practice resources now comprise of 6 Partners, 2 Associates with 18 other Design, Technical and Administrative Staff.
The practice is member of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland.
