This is a community health centre at Swords for the Easten Health Board and is intended as a major element in the integrated Community Health History for the Swords area.

The site faces towards Swords Castle, and slopes towards the Ward River and the public park in front of the castle. in response to the shape of the site, the building is L-shaped and emabraces the view from the village and acts as a visual shield to industrial buildings behind the site. Waiting areas are situated on the east side of the building to allow the public to look onto the river, open green space and castle
