The construction of the new Laboratory extension at University Hospital Waterford commenced last year. Complex ground works and service diversion are now nearing completion with rising walls due to commence shortly, subject to temperatures rising. This project will progress through 2025 and build on our successful completion of other Healthcare projects at UHW including Cardiac Cath Lab, Cataract Theatre, CRC Regional Therapy & Assessment Centre and the Dunmore Wing - 92 Bed Ward & Palliative Care Block.
It has been a pleasure to work with the HSE Capital & Estates team, University Hospital Waterford management, Malon O’Regan Consulting Engineers, Varming Consulting Engineers Ltd. AtkinRéalis, ORS (GSP) and Tom O’Brien Construction on the delivery of this project.
