Four storey new build extension to existing acute hospital. Adult and Paediatric Emergency Department on ground floor including X-ray, Resuscitation, Major and Minor Treatment areas and Paediatric Treatment and sub-waiting. 1st and 2nd Floors consist of two 20 bed In-patient standard wards with 50% single rooms with ensuites. The 8 bed Coronary Care and 5 bed Step down units are located on the 3rd floor. All levels are connected back to refurbished tie-in areas of the existing hospital by two multi-storey glazed links.
