The extension to accommodate an MRI machine at Regional Hospital Mullingar has commenced at the Hospital campus. The one storey extension is located next to the Radiology and Emergency Departments and it will provide diagnostic imaging services for adults and children.
The extension will be clad in red brick to match the existing Hospital building. The interior will have a warm, bright atmosphere, with universal access and will meet the specialist requirements of MRI machines.
Completion is due in Q2 2022.
